‍About DAV Autumn Meetings
The Autumn Meeting of DAV and DGVFM, taking place in November, is the second-largest actuarial conference in Germany. This significant event spans two days and features a comprehensive program encompassing a variety of presentations. These presentations are specifically tailored for different sections, including LIFE, HEALTH, ASTIN, AFIR/ERM, and Actuarial Data Science. Each year, the event draws the participation of approximately 800 actuaries from various parts of Germany, making it a notable gathering in the actuarial field. Following this meeting, a scientific conference was organized by the expert group of the German Society of Insurance Science ("Fachkreis Versicherungsmathematik des Deutschen Vereins für Versicherungswissenschaften") in conjunction with DVGFM. This conference focuses on the crucial interaction between actuarial research and its application in daily practice, highlighting the interplay between theoretical insights and practical implementation in actuarial science.
